Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012, she was awarded gold at the team events and also the floor workouts. In the balance beam Raisman received the bronze medal. In the end, she was the very first American at the Olympics who had the most number of medals. The gold medal she won during the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold medal for the American team. She was, along with teammate Gabby the first Americans to be able to complete this feat. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her favourite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a member of an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce the new novel she's working on, will be released sometime in the coming year.
